Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, our February 14th "People & Places Around the World" reading clubs filled up super early - but we always have spots open up when people cancel!

Kids enjoyoying hearing a book at the reading clubs

If all of our reader spots are full, please keep checking back at www.readingtokids.org over the next three weeks for new spots as people realize they have to cancel.

(If you have signed up and can't make it after all, please cancel your RSVP online immediately to make room for another volunteer.)

READY FOR A BIGGER ROLE
AT OUR FEB. 14TH READING CLUBS?

Site Coordinators at Politi Elementary

When our reading clubs are full, they are only really full for those who want to read to the kids.

For those experienced volunteers who are open to it, we can add in your RSVP as a Site Operations Helper to assist our Site Coordinators at any of our schools.

Site Operations Helpers usually don't get to read, but they get to participate in creating a magical experience for the kids and volunteers that morning!

If you have volunteered with us before and are ready to try the valuable Site Operations Helper role, e-mail us at info@readingtokids.org and let us know!

MUSICIANS & PERFORMERS
WANTED MARCH 14TH

Our March 14th reading clubs feature "Music & Entertainment", and we are looking for musicians, dancers, or other entertainers to perform at each of our seven partner schools.

In the past we've had everything from Korean drum troupes, electric violin players, mariachi dancers, and marching bands!

If you or someone you know is interested in entertaining our students and volunteers, email us at info@readingtokids.org.

GOT A NEW COMPUTER OR TABLET?
GIVE YOUR OLD ONE TO A KID!

Looking ahead to our April reading clubs, we would love to give away a computer or iPad/tablet to one lucky kid at each school!

If you or your employer have any working computers that are less than 6 years old running Windows 10 or later, or any Macintosh computers less than 7 years old, or any iPads or similar tablets, we can give them to deserving kids!

We especially need working computers (CPUs), whether or not they come with monitors, keyboards, etc. Please email us at info@readingtokids.org to help make a kid very happy!

PLEASE HELP US FIND
BINGO PRIZES

Drag Queen Bingo!

Our next Legendary Bingo fundraisers at Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood will be on May 20th and in the fall! Please help us gather prizes for auctions and bingo winners that night!

To help you get started, here is information about Reading to Kids to share with potential donors, as well as a donation form for them to complete.

We especially enjoy awarding gift certificates, amusement park and theater tickets, gift bags, and autographed items! Anything unique is great, too!

If you work at or have a connection with products or services to offer, please help us by asking for a donation to our events.

You may have gift cards you haven't used which would make excellent prizes if you'd like to donate them to us! E-mail us at info@readingtokids.org to arrange mailing them to us!

Thank you in advance for your help with any of the above!

Sincerely,
