EXPERIENCED VOLUNTEERS WANTED DEC. 13TH AS
SITE COORDINATORS, SITE OPERATIONS HELPERS,
& MORE
We always need experienced volunteers to take on bigger roles with us by
checking in volunteers as they arrive, helping train new and returning volunteers, being a GLC, or especially being a Site Operations Helper
at any of our schools.

Next Thursday or Friday for an hour or two between 7:30am and 2:30pm, we need your
help conducting quick classroom walk-throughs and/or passing out flyers to encourage kids to come to
our Dec. 13th reading clubs.
We are especially looking for volunteers available from about 1:15 - 2:45 next Thursday or Friday, Dec. 11th or 12th.
It's an exciting experience and we'll provide everything you need. Please reply to

4TH FUNDRAISING ANGEL ROMI BOUCHER!
Thank you Romi Boucher for becoming our fourth
2025 Annual Fund Drive Angel!
Romi became a fundraising Angel through her Facebook fundraiser by gathering donations from at least 10 of her friends. Thank you to Romi and everyone else gathering donations for Reading to Kids!
We have so far raised $37,261 donated by 216 donors - just over halfway to our goal this year!
All who have donated can see their names listed on our
2025 Annual Fund Drive page. Donate this month and we can add your name there, too!
Our Annual Fund Drive lasts until December 31st, and our ambitious goal this year is to raise $70,000 from 500 donors.

Also, if your workplace matches donations to nonprofits, please share
with them your donation, and ask them to consider matching it. In this way you double your donation and share with others your enthusiasm

FIVE MORE COMPUTERS OR TABLETS WANTED
TO GIVE TO KIDS!
Looking way ahead to our April reading clubs, we would love to give away a computer or iPad/tablet to one lucky kid at each school!
If you or your employer have any working computers that are less than 6 years old running Windows 10 or later, or any Macintosh computers less than 7 years old, or any iPads or similar tablets, we can give them to deserving kids!
We especially need working computers (CPUs), whether or not they come with monitors, keyboards, etc. Please email us at

Team Reading to Kids in the 2026 Los
Angeles Marathon on Sunday,
March 8th!
This is our 12th time running the marathon, and we're looking for four more marathon runners to join us in one of the best marathons in the country.
If that distance is too daunting, you can join us in the LA 5K (that's just 3.1 miles) near Dodger Stadium the day before the marathon on Saturday, March 7th.
