Occupational Therapy Tips for Craft Time!

Reading to Kids is honored to have the participation of Melanie Bergthorson as a member of our Training Committee.  Mel is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and does a wonderful volunteer training/warm-up at Magnolia. 

In addition to getting all of us moving (and wiggling!) on Reading Club Saturdays, she has developed an Occupational Therapy tip sheet to help volunteers make the most of craft time.  This is a great resource for all of us and can give insight into the developmental level of the kids you're working with and how to encourage important foundational skills.  Click here to check it out!
